By Pro Football Weekly

Notes: Was also a top baseball player in high school. Redshirted in 1998. Carried the ball once in '99 and missed five games with injury, three with an ankle and two with a concussion. Played in every game and started once in 2000. Had 31 carries for 133 yards and one touchdown and 10 catches for 147 yards and two touchdowns. Had back surgery before the start of the '01 season and missed the first half of the year. Came back to carry 4-11-0 and catch 3-61-1, including a 54-yard TD grab vs. Notre Dame. Used mainly as a blocking fullback and on special teams as a senior in '02. Was nagged by multiple injuries but appeared in 10-of-13 games. No carries but caught 6-56-0.

Positives: Adequate blocker who can catch the ball and has more running ability than many fullbacks.

Negatives: Needs to improve overall blocking skills. Not a top runner.

Summary: Will have to impress on special teams to make it in the NFL.
