PHOENIX (AP)_ Jeremy Roenick and Louie DeBrusk had goals, and Sean Burke stopped 25 shots as the Phoenix Coyotes closed their preseason with a 2-1 win Saturday night over the Anaheim Mighty Ducks.

Roenick took a drop pass from Shane Doan just above the right circle and beat Guy Hebert with a rising slap shot 1:01 into the second period.

DeBrusk one-timed a cross-crease pass from Wyatt Smith for a 2-0 lead with 13:25 to play.

Phoenix had two players in the penalty box and Anaheim pulled Hebert for a 6-on-3 advantage when Patrick Traverse scored with 11 seconds remaining.

The Mighty Ducks played without star left wing Paul Kariya, suspended by the NHL for slashing Friday night against Minnesota's Aaron Gavey.

Phoenix ended its preseason at 3-4-2 while Anaheim finished 3-5.
