Bishop besting the King so far

Henrik Lundqvist and Ben Bishop must have a pact to alternate good games in net. After coming up small in Game 4, Bishop is stonewalling the Rangers late in the 3rd as New York frantically tries to come back from a 2-0 deficit to avoid trailing 3-2 in the series. Follow live

Bishop has responded to adversity same way Lundqvist did in Game 5. Hasn't been tested a ton but come through when he has been. #NYR #TBL

Nice drop pass by Nash for a one-timer by Stepan but Bishop is able to fend off the rising blast #NYR still down 2-0.

After starting the playoffs with no goals in his first 8 games, Stamkos has 7 goals in his past 10; including four in his last four games

Lightning double up the lead

Marc Staal's tripping penalty bit the Rangers big time, as Steven Stamkos put together a nifty one-timer from right in front of the net to give Tampa Bay a 2-0 lead late in the 2nd period. Follow live

Lightning fend off Rangers, score first

New York had two consecutive advantages thanks to back-to-back Lightning penalties -- yet the Rangers only managed a couple of weak attempts on goal. Back to full-strength, Valtteri Filppula made the most of Tampa's forechecking and found the back of the net. The Lightning lead 1-0. Follow live

Lundqvist busy and makes a couple saves after #NYR power-play produces nothing but a point shot with no traffic in front of Bishop.
