Jay Pandolfo retires after 15 seasons

TORONTO -- Jay Pandolfo is retiring after 15 seasons in the NHL and two Stanley Cups with the New Jersey Devils.

The 39-year-old forward was born in Burlington, Mass., and also played for the New York Islanders and Boston Bruins.

He announced his retirement Thursday through the NHL Players' Association.
