Brad Boyes re-ups with Panthers

The Florida Panthers have signed forward Brad Boyes to a two-year contract extension worth $2.625 million per season, a league source confirmed.

The deal comes with a limited no-trade clause, the source said.

Boyes, a possible trade candidate before Wednesday's deadline, is a good fit for the rebuilding Panthers, scoring a team-high 17 goals this season in 59 games. It's the most goals he's scored since totaling 17 in 83 games during a 2010-11 season split between the St. Louis Blues ...
