Paul Ranger doesn't have concussion
TORONTO -- Maple Leafs defenseman Paul Ranger has a sore neck but no concussion after hitting his head on the glass.
Ranger didn't participate in Toronto's practice Friday but went on the ice for a team photo. Coach Randy Carlyle says Ranger wasn't treated for a concussion.
Ranger's head struck the glass on a hit from Tampa Bay Lightning's Alex Killorn. He remained on the ice for seven minutes before leaving on a stretcher.
