Stars activate Tugnutt off injured list

FRISCO, Texas -- The Dallas Stars on Friday activated goaltender Ron Tugnutt from the injured reserve list.

Tugnutt, 36, was placed on the injured list Dec. 17 with a knee sprain, retroactive to Dec. 14. He missed four games with the injury suffered in practice.

In four games this season, he has posted a 1-2-0 record with a 2.11 goals-against-average and a .908 save percentage.

Tugnutt is expected to be in uniform Friday night against Nashville.
