Kolzig criticizes new NHL rules

Washington Capitals: Goaltender Olaf Kolzig, 35, is dealing with an inexperienced defense that already has allowed 15 goals to the Thrashers in two of the Capitals' three regular-season games, both losses. Could the new rules implemented this season, with regard to smaller pads and limiting goaltenders' ability to play the puck, have something to do with it? Or how about the aggressive play of opponents in the crease? Are goaltenders being singled out?
