Is there an East Coast bias in the sports (hockey) media?

Most of you understand the reason for this question and the generic definition of "East Coast bias." East Coast bias is the belief that Eastern time zone things, athletes and sports franchises receive more media attention than Western time zone things, athletes and sports franchises.
