Evgeni Malkin injured in collision

PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin slowly skated off the ice and into the locker room on his own power after a collision with Buffalo defenseman Tyler Myers early in the second period on Friday night.

Malkin had missed the previous five games with a left knee injury and sinus infection. The former league scoring champion has missed 10 games in all this season, most related to his knee.
