Panthers' Jose Theodore injured
RALEIGH, N.C. -- Florida Panthers goalie Jose Theodore left Saturday night's game against the Carolina Hurricanes just more than two minutes in with what the team later called a lower-body injury.
"It's going to be a while," Florida coach Kevin Dineen said. "He was pretty sore on the ice, and it wasn't much better off (it)."
Theodore, the 2002 NHL MVP with Montreal, kicked out his right pad to stop Jussi Jokinen on a 2-on-1 rush and immediately crumpled to the ice on the rebound attempt.
