Jordan Leopold, Blues agree to deal

The St. Louis Blues and defenseman Jordan Leopold have agreed to terms on a two-year contract, the team announced Wednesday.

The deal is worth $2.25 million per year, a source told ESPN.com's Pierre LeBrun.

The Blues acquired Leopold, 32, last year in a trade with the Buffalo Sabres. Leopold played 15 regular season games for St. Louis and registered two assists.

The 10-year veteran dressed for all six of the Blues' postseason games.
