Elite League has more the 30 NHL players

STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- Phoenix Coyotes goalie Brian Boucher signed to play for Swedish champion HV71 on Wednesday while the NHL lockout continues.

Boucher set an NHL record for consecutive shutouts last season.
The 27-year-old goalie held opponents scoreless for more than five
straight games -- a total of 332 minutes.

He joins more than 30 other NHL players in Sweden's Elite
League, including fellow goalie Miikka Kiprusoff of the Calgary Flames, who
plays for the club Timra.

Boucher's contract is for the remainder of the season, or until
the lockout ends, the team said.
