Briere is the consummate team player and has adapted his role to whatever the Philadelphia Flyers have required from him during the years. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, that role has been reduced, potentially, to third-line center. The Flyers have young, future stars vying for top-six minutes with the club, and they could quite easily hop past Briere on the depth chart because of how adaptable Briere is. Sean Couturier and Brayden Schenn will be the two sophomores who would chiefly be responsible for Briere playing further down the depth chart. But note that no matter where Briere plays for the Flyers, he can put up enough offense to warrant some fantasy attention. In all likelihood, we should anticipate another 0.70 points-per-game pace from Briere, which isn't spectacular, but is quite serviceable for fantasy purposes. That is also a basement for Briere, as his offense would increase if he is asked to play a larger role in the offense.","seasonId":2013,"date":"Thu Jan 10"},"playerRater30DAY":-0.9,"playerRater15DAY":1.7,"positionRank":86}
