Leighton also appeared in 14 games in the postseason that followed, putting up similar ratio stats as the team made its way into the Stanley Cup finals. After that, however, it all seemed to fall apart. Leighton underwent back surgery that offseason, and was passed on the Flyers’ depth by both Sergei Bobrovsky and Brian Boucher; he also passed through waivers twice without another team claiming him. As the lockout came to a close, it appeared that Leighton was set to be Philly’s primary backup -- a noteworthy position, as the team has gotten inconsistent production from starter Ilya Bryzgalov. However, with the Flyers’ acquisition of Brian Boucher, the prospects for Leighton are dimmer. Unless something changes, he’ll be a non-factor for fantasy purposes this season.","seasonId":2013,"date":"Mon Jan 14"},"positionRank":88}
