If you need a 60-point (82-game pace) forward with an emphasis on assists, it's hard to find someone more reliable in the middle rounds of a fantasy draft. The frustrating and enticing side of Weiss all comes from the beginning of last season when the Florida Panthers' top line looked like the best line in the NHL. For his part, Weiss had 33 points in 37 games to begin the campaign with Kris Versteeg and Tomas Fleischmann. That is certainly enticing, but the frustration is born from the fact he potted only 24 points in the remaining 43 games he played. Injury certainly played a role in the line's decline, but they were most certainly playing above their heads to begin the season.
