Longtime linemate Derek Roy was traded to the Dallas Stars and Steve Ott could certainly fill in as a centerman for Pominville and Thomas Vanek. But the team may be more interested in seeing if Cody Hodgson can shed his bust label for good on a line with Pominville. Furthermore, Pominville may be on the top-line in name only, as the connection of Drew Stafford, Tyler Ennis and Marcus Foligno may start to take away some key ice time and power-play work.
