FANTASY HOCKEY
{"playerId":493,"percentChange":0,"averageDraftPosition":169.1,"percentOwned":86.4,"playerRaterSEASON":4.4,"playerRater7DAY":0.9,"fullName":"Derek Roy","seasonOutlook":{"outlook":"Is he an elite playmaker who had a bad season with the Buffalo Sabres? Or is he on the decline? Roy's fresh start with the Dallas Stars will tell us what the case may be. Roy is small for an NHL center but sees his teammates so well it has rarely mattered in eight NHL seasons. The lockout allowed him to recover from offseason ailments and be healthy coming into the season. Roy will likely be lining up at pivot on the second line. Roy's linemates are not set in stone but are likely to be Michael Ryder and Ray Whitney. With Whitney's veteran experience and Ryder's great finishing instincts, the trio could mesh well to the benefit of all three. Taking Roy in a fantasy draft this season is taking a risk, though. He had every opportunity to succeed, coming off an injury-shortened season, but only scored 44 points in 80 games last year -- his worst pace since his rookie season. Now with news that he won't play until a month into the season, he may not be worth drafting at all.","seasonId":2013,"date":"Thu Jan 10"},"playerRater30DAY":2.6,"playerRater15DAY":4.3,"positionRank":40}
