Where last season he missed only a couple of weeks with a hip problem, offseason shoulder and wrist surgery this year could keep him out for what is still an indetermined amount of time. The shoulder problem is said to be blamed for his un-Kesler-like production last season (49 points in 77 games). While Kesler has been slow to recover, he should be fully healthy when he does. Don't forget a healthy Kesler can score nearly a point per game and get a ton of power-play time with the Sedin twins. Discount him on your draft list only because of the expected missed time and give him a pass for last season's low numbers.","seasonId":2013,"date":"Thu Jan 10"},"playerRater30DAY":4.2,"playerRater15DAY":4.7,"positionRank":88}

Kesler Scores Twice, Canucks Win
From Elias: Ryan Kesler scored the first and last goals in the Canucks' 5-2 in over the Predators in Nashville. It was Kesler's first two-goal game of the season and the 20th multiple-goal game of an NHL career spent entirely with Vancouver. The Canucks have a 19-0-1 record when Kesler scores two or more goals and they've won the last 14 games in which his name has appeared in the goal-scoring summary more than once.
