Empty Hat Trick
From Elias: Milan Michalek completed an unusual (others might say "cheap") hat trick with a pair of empty-net goals for the Senators in their 7-3 victory over the Lightning in Tampa. Michalek is the third player in NHL history to score three goals in one game, including two empty-netters. The other players to do that each did it twice: Marcel Dionne (in 1976 and 1979) and Mario Lemieux (1987 and 1989).
