After spending his first seven seasons with the Colorado Avalanche, Liles finds himself in a brand new (hockey-mad) environment north of the border. Dealt to the Toronto Maple Leafs in June, Liles is expected to put in heavy minutes on the newly assembled top power-play unit, which will also include center Tim Connolly and winger Phil Kessel. That's promising. The 30-year-old has had more and less productive stretches of play in his seven years, but he's never been a big letdown. And when he's on, few in the league are hotter. If Liles doesn't butt heads too often with coach Ron Wilson (a legitimate concern), he may be in position to reach the 50-point mark for the first time.","seasonId":2012,"date":"Fri Sep 9"},"playerRater30DAY":-1.3,"playerRater15DAY":-0.9,"positionRank":84}
