Toews Leads Blackhawks To The Playoffs
From Elias: The Blackhawks overcame a 3-2 deficit in the third period and posted a 5-3 win against Nashville that clinched a playoff spot for Chicago. Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews scored the game-winning goal at the 10:32 mark of the final period, only 55 seconds after he assisted on Brandon Saad's score-tying goal. Toews has scored 12 goals in the 19 games he's played since February 28. The only NHL player with more than a dozen goals since that date is Alex Ovechkin (17).

Blackhawks Equal Their Largest Margin Of Victory In Detroit
From Elias: The Blackhawks scored three goals in the first 4:12 of the game and cruised to a 7-1 win over the Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena, matching their largest margin of victory ever in a game at Detroit, regular season or playoffs. (Chicago won 8-2 in a regular-season game at Olympia Stadium in December 1973, and by the same score at Joe Louis Arena in the 1985 playoffs.) The Blackhawks' three-goal outburst to begin Sunday's game marked the fastest three goals ever scored from the start of a game by a visiting team in Detroit. The old mark was 4:48 by the original Winnipeg Jets in their 4-2 win at Joe Louis Arena on Feb. 12, 1983. Rookie Brandon Saad scored two goals and assisted on another in the Blackhawks' win, becoming the first rookie on any team to score three points in a game against the Red Wings since Patrick Kane did so with a goal and two assists in a Blackhawks victory in Chicago on April 2, 2008. Before Saad, the last rookie to score three points against the Red Wings in a game in Detroit was the Bruins' P.J. Axelsson on March 10, 1998 (no goals, three assists).
