Garon Looking For Raleigh Real Estate
From Elias: Tampa Bay goaltender Mathieu Garon made 32 saves and earned first-star honors in his 5-2 road win over the Hurricanes. It would be understandable if Garon requested a trade to Carolina since each of his last three NHL wins have come in games against the Hurricanes in Raleigh: his final victory last season for the Lightning (March 3) and both wins this season (January 22 and Saturday). Garon's only other road win at Carolina was for Montreal on March 31, 2003.
