Of course, the Calgary Flames would much prefer to see that effort used to shut down opposing players while other skilled players ply their trade on the scoring lines. Glencross has performed admirably in recent seasons, as a lack of depth has forced the Flames to employ Glencross as a top-six forward, but the team is going into this season with enough skilled players to fill out the top six and let Glencross do what he does best. Just keep in mind that Glencross, if asked to skate on a scoring line, can get hot enough to be worth starting in fantasy leagues.","seasonId":2013,"date":"Tue Sep 11"},"playerRater30DAY":-1.4,"playerRater15DAY":-3.1,"positionRank":38}

Glencross Nets Three In The Third
From Elias: Curtis Glencross recorded the second hat trick of his NHL career when he scored three goals, all in the third period, in the Flames win over the Predators in Calgary. He's the first player to score three goals in one period of an NHL game this season and the first Flames players to do so since Jarome Iginla in the third period of a 9-6 Calgary win at Tampa Bay on December 13, 2007. Glencross has scored 11 goals in 15 games at the Saddledome this year, which ties him with Steven Stamkos for the NHL goal-scoring lead in home games this season. Glencross has been very productive at home this year but he's scored only one goal in nine road games this season.
