Gomez had a bad season in 2010-11, and last season was lost mostly to a concussion. Gomez looked slow and lost on the ice sometimes, but he still has a playmaker's skill set and could perform in the right situation -- particularly if he ends up with long-time linemate Brian Gionta. But, for the most part, you can disregard Gomez in fantasy leagues.
