Even though he's been hanging around the NHL for parts of six seasons, the trade to the Tampa Bay Lightning this offseason will mean Pouliot is headed into an NHL season with expectations to perform as a top-six forward for the first time. Pouliot has shown flashes before, including scoring 15 goals in 39 games with the Montreal Canadiens after a trade in 2009-10. He'll have Vincent Lecavalier, certainly a capable centerman, to work with on the second line. Pouliot might be a riskier sleeper than some others in fantasy hockey, but it is definitely do-or-die time for him to prove himself as a fantasy commodity.","seasonId":2013,"date":"Tue Sep 11"},"playerRater30DAY":1.8,"playerRater15DAY":-2.4,"positionRank":57}

Pouliot Ties Career Best With 3 Assists
From Elias: Benoit Pouliot matched his career high for assists in one game when he set up goals for Vincent Lecavalier, Steven Stamkos and Matt Carle in the Lightning's 4-2 win against the Maple Leafs. Pouliot now has three three-assist games on his NHL resume, registering one in each of the last three seasons and each for a different team: Montreal (March 20, 2011), Boston (Jan. 5, 2012) and Tampa Bay (Tuesday).
