Price Loves Facing The Rangers At Home
From Elias: Carey Price recorded his fourth consecutive shutout against the Rangers in Montreal with a 3-0 win on Saturday night. Price is the sixth goaltender in NHL history to post shutouts in each of four straight home games against one team. The other netminders to do that were Ottawa's Alex Connell (vs. the Montreal Maroons, 1926-1927); the Canadiens' George Hainsworth (vs. the original Senators, 1928-1929); Toronto's Harry Lumley (vs. the Rangers, in the 1952-53 season); Detroit's Terry Sawchuk (vs. the Maple Leafs, in the 1953-54 season); and Philadelphia's Bernie Parent (vs. the Penguins, 1974-1977).

Price Tested Frequently And Comes Through Again
From Elias: The Canadiens extended their winning streak to five games with a 2-1 victory over the Devils in which Carey Price made 32 saves for Montreal. Price has faced 30 or more shots on goal in only seven of his 22 games this season but he has a 6-0-1 record in those seven games. Price faced 30 or more shots on goal in well over half of his games last season (37 of 65) and had a 16-13-8 record in those games.
