Krejci's Three-point Game Leads Bruins Over Maple Leafs
From Elias: David Krejci, who recorded only one goal and two assists over his final 13 games during the regular season, matched those totals with one goal and two assists in the Bruins' 4-1 win in Game 1 of their series against the Maple Leafs. It was the fifth career postseason game of three or more points for Krejci, who registered only one goal and two assists for Boston in its seven-game first-round series loss to the Capitals in last year's playoffs. Krejci's five postseason games of at least three points have all come in the last four years; no other NHL player has more than four such games over that span.

Game 1 Reaction: Bruins 4, Maple Leafs 1
BOSTON -- For the past two days, the Boston Bruins insisted their late-season funk was in the rearview mirror. There would be no more blown leads in the third period and no more lackluster starts.

Horton Stays Hot For Bruins
From Elias: David Krejci and Nathan Horton scored third-period goals to push the Bruins to a 2-0 win at Buffalo on Sunday night. Horton scored a goal in each of Boston's last three games in March, after recording only one goal in the team's first 14 games of the month; remarkably, it's the first time that a Bruins player scored goals in each of three consecutive team games since Krejci did so nearly 15 months ago (Jan. 4-7, 2012).
