He'll begin the season again with Stephen Weiss and Tomas Fleischmann on the same line that dominated the first three months of the 2011-12 NHL season, but expectations will be much lower this season. However, Versteeg's speed on the ice was one of the big reasons for the line's early success and he underwent surgery on his hip in the offseason to deal with a problem that had been lingering for the second half of the season. There is plenty of reason to be hopeful for a resurgence from Versteeg, but don't go looking at him as a potential point-per-game player at the draft table.","seasonId":2013,"date":"Tue Sep 11"},"positionRank":127}
