Pavelski even excelled when he was playing pivot on the San Jose Sharks' third line last season. Room has been cleared for him to settle in as the second-line centerman with Clowe and, likely, Logan Couture. He'll probably continue to earn minutes on the first power-play unit, too, though the addition of Brent Burns does put some question marks up.
