He is a good player and would be well suited on a second line for a team that needs a playmaker with back-checking skills. The Canucks do not need Ryan Kesler-lite playing beside Ryan Kesler, though, and will be looking for shooters and finishers for the second-line wing positions. With so many applicants for the Canucks' second line this coming season, it could well be that the third line becomes formidable. In that case, Hansen could start to show off his poise and potential.
