While he is a big man and fierce forechecker, McGinn doesn't exactly have the kind of scoring touch that his numbers with the Avalanche suggest. If anyone from the top-six forwards last season is to suffer a demotion, McGinn is the likely candidate. He, of course, still merits some consideration because there is always a chance that coach Joe Sacco decides not to mess with the configuration that was scoring goals at the end of last season.
