On the ice, Varlamov has been plagued by injuries, limiting his value both to the Caps and to fantasy owners. As the saying goes, injury avoidance is a skill, and it's not an area in which Varly seems particularly skilled. In addition, he's going from one of the league's most dominant teams to a franchise that is working its way back to respectability.
