A 5-1-0 record, 1.32 GAA and .961 SV% are all exquisite. The only problem, naturally, is the folly of seeing too much in small sample sizes. It's unlikely that Khudobin is going to be able to match those figures over the course of an entire season, but we're poised to get a very good look at just that in 2012-13: Khudobin is set to be the primary backup to Tuukka Rask in Boston, a goaltender who has never appeared in more than 45 games in an NHL season. In 44 appearances for the Bruins' AHL affiliate in Providence last season, Khudobin managed a 2.61/.919 ratios split, and his NHL work in 2012-13 will likely be closer to that than his current career averages. Nevertheless, a solid late-round pick, as Rask may not be starting many more than 30 games this season, leaving a healthy portion for Khudobin of 18 to 20.","seasonId":2013,"date":"Thu Jan 10"},"playerRater30DAY":1.5,"playerRater15DAY":-5.5,"positionRank":22}
