Voracek Powers Flyers To Win
From Elias: The Flyers scored three power play goals in their 5-3 win over the Jets and Jakub Voracek assisted on all three goals. Voracek was the first NHL player to register three power play assists in one game this season and the first Flyer to do since Chris Pronger on Jan. 6, 2010 against Toronto. Voracek was the first Philadelphia forward to record three power play assists in one game since Mark Recchi did so twice in a six-day span in 1999 (Oct. 12 and Oct. 17). Voracek, who had four assists against the Islanders on Monday, has as many games of three or more assists this week as he had in 335 career regular-season games before Monday (one in 2009, another in 2010).

Voracek Scores Second Regular-season Philly Hat Trick In Pittsburgh
From Elias: Jakub Voracek's tiebreaking goal with 91 seconds remaining in the third period completed the first hat trick of his NHL career and earned the Flyers a 6-5 road victory over the Penguins. It was only the second regular-season hat trick by a Flyers player in Pittsburgh. The first one was by Bobby Clarke in a 6-5 Philadelphia win at the Civic Arena on Dec. 13, 1980. The Flyers have had three playoff hat tricks in Pittsburgh, including two in one game last year (by Sean Couturier and Claude Giroux) and one in 1989 (by Tim Kerr).

First Four-assist Game For Jakub Voracek
From Elias: Jakub Voracek set a career high for assists in one game when he helped set up four goals in the Flyers' 7-0 win over the Islanders on Monday afternoon. Voracek was the second player to record four assists in an NHL game this season - Martin St. Louis did that against Philadelphia on January 27 - and he was the third player in Flyers history to notch four assists in a game against the Islanders. The others were Mark Recchi (Nov. 12, 1992) and Tim Kerr (March 15, 1990).
