Bishop is the middle goalie between the current franchise 'tender (Anderson) and the prospective future franchise 'tender (Robin Lehner). He'll battle the latter of those two for the rights to the backup job in 2012-13, and his fantasy stock will obviously be largely contingent upon winning that duel.
