After an impressive 45-point rookie season with the Boston Bruins, Wheeler had a down 2009-10 and then matched his rookie output split between the Bruins and Atlanta Thrashers last season. Now with a two-year agreement in place with the Winnipeg Jets, Wheeler has a chance to settle in and become an offensive leader that the team sorely needs. He should start on a top line featuring Bryan Little and Andrew Ladd, three talented underachievers. If Wheeler can use his size effectively, which should be part of the training for this team (imagine a power play with 6-foot-6 Nik Antropov, 6-foot-5 Wheeler and Eric Fehr, 6-foot-4 Dustin Byfuglien and 6-foot-2 Ladd), Wheeler should exceed the 45-point threshold at which he seems to have been stuck.","seasonId":2012,"date":"Fri Sep 9"},"playerRater30DAY":2.2,"playerRater15DAY":1.8,"positionRank":19}
