But Henrique's production when he wasn't on a line with superstars wasn't up to the same standard. When Travis Zajac assumed the top centerman role in the postseason, Henrique was dropped to the third line with Alexei Ponikarovsky and David Clarkson. While he wasn't scoring nearly a point per game -- like he did through the middle months of the regular season -- Henrique still managed a solid 13 points in 24 playoff games. If Henrique can find a way to score and set up goals in a reduced role, certainly he can find a way to earn back the prime ice time. Working against Henrique is an injured thumb that will keep him out of action until closer to February, allowing Zajac a head start on developing chemistry with Kovalchuk. It will be a battle for playing time once Henrique returns.
