The Avs signed a great playmaker in Parenteau and also hope to see Matt Duchene regain his former luster this season. That could well mean O'Reilly is asked to play a different role on the team. He has tenacity and vision on the ice, so he will manage to get assists wherever he plays. However, the plus/minus and sheer number of assists he recorded last season came from playing with Gabriel Landeskog. If O'Reilly is separated from the top line, it probably means he doesn't have any fantasy relevance this season.
