After a promising rookie campaign for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in 2009-10 -- including a 2.45 GAA and .914 SVP -- Thiessen went 35-8-1 in 2010-11, with a 1.94 GAA and .922 SVP. Obviously the Pens are set at G1 with Marc-Andre Fleury, and Brent Johnson is a suitable backup. Thiessen's fate, for now at least, seems to be another stint with the Baby Pens, at least until there's a trade involving Johnson or Thiessen himself.
