Kadri Is A Natural
From Elias: Nazem Kadri scored the final three goals in the Maple Leafs' 4-0 win at Ottawa. It was the third "natural" hat trick in the NHL this season (the others were by the Ducks' Kyle Palmieri and the Kings' Jeff Carter, both against Nashville) and the first by a Toronto player since Dec. 6, 2007, when Nik Antropov scored three consecutive goals in a game against the Rangers. Kadri had another three-goal game this season, against the Islanders on February 28. The last Maple Leafs player to register a pair of hat tricks so close together was Wendel Clark, who had two in a five-day span in 1994 (February 28 and March 4).

Two Days, Two Three-point Games For Kadri
From Elias: Nazem Kadri recorded his second three-point game in two days when he tallied two goals and one assist for the Maple Leafs in their shootout loss at Buffalo on Thursday, after racking up three assists in Toronto's home-ice win against Tampa Bay the night before. Over the last 23 seasons, the only other Maple Leafs players to score three or more points in each of two games played on consecutive days were Mats Sundin, who did it twice (March 8-9, 1996 and Dec. 15-16, 2006), and Doug Gilmour (Feb. 13-14, 1993).

Kadri's First Three-goal Game In The Nhl
From Elias: Nazem Kadri notched the first hat trick of his NHL career - in fact, his first multiple-goal game - when he scored three goals for the Maple Leafs in their 5-4 overtime win on Long Island. The 22-year-old Kadri is only the third player in the last 21 seasons to record a hat trick for Toronto before his 23rd birthday. The other Maple Leafs to do that since 1991 were Nik Antropov on Dec. 20, 1999 at Florida (age 19) and Alexander Steen on Jan. 4, 2007 at Boston (age 22).
