During two seasons in the NHL, he has sustained ankle and shoulder injuries, as well as a concussion (from a teammate in warm-ups, no less), to max out at 65 games in a single season. One critique of Hall has been that he is too bold with some of his attacks on the puck and may be prone to more than a few bumps and bruises. This offseason he had major shoulder surgery, but he will be ready for the start of the 2012-13 campaign. All cautions aside, Hall is a supreme talent with the puck, and he happens to play with linemates who are no less accomplished than himself. The Oilers are going to break through very soon (more likely 2013-14) with a line that approaches a combined 300 points.
