Niederreiter oozes potential as an exciting offensive forward who plays with an edge, but we saw none of it last season. He is still only 19 years old, though and, as mentioned, has not had a chance to play on a scoring line yet. There is potential this season, as the Isles will have to have a real competition to fill out the top-six forwards outside of John Tavares and Matt Moulson.
