He has two years of experience in the AHL with occasional call-ups to fill a role with the Ducks. His seven points in 18 games with the Ducks last season are just a hint of his talent when you consider that he wasn't usually playing big minutes. His 58 points in 51 games with the Syracuse Crunch (despite the consistent distraction of NHL call-ups) is more telling. What role he gets with the team will ultimately decide whether Palmieri is worth attention in your fantasy league. But beyond Corey Perry, Ryan Getzlaf, Bobby Ryan and Teemu Selanne, all bets are off to fill the remainder of the top-six forwards.","seasonId":2013,"date":"Tue Sep 11"},"playerRater30DAY":2,"playerRater15DAY":1.7,"positionRank":62}

A Natural Hat Trick For Palmieri
From Elias: Kyle Palmieri scored the first natural hat trick in the NHL this season in the Ducks' 5-1 victory over the Predators. Corey Perry had the primary assist and Ryan Getzlaf had the secondary assist on all three of Palmieri's goals. The last time an NHL player recorded a hat trick in which the same two players had the primary and secondary assist was on March 19, 2008 when Buffalo's Thomas Vanek's hat trick was assisted by Derek Roy and Drew Stafford.
