With Loui Eriksson, Richards found that connection on the Dallas Stars to drive him past a point-per-game as a centerman. Not taking anything away from Eriksson, but Marian Gaborik is a whole other level of scoring winger. If Richards can find some chemistry with him, and if Gaborik's body holds up, the two could be a potent mix. Even if Gaborik isn't a match made for Richards, the Rangers boast enough speedy talent to find him a solid linemate.
