Pyatt, one of the team's top penalty killers, suffered what the team called an "upper body" injury in Game 4 in Montreal. He played 10:45 in Saturday's 3-0 loss, which gave the Flyers a 3-1 series lead and a chance to clinch a trip to the Stanley Cup finals on Monday night.
Pyatt did not skate Monday morning in Philadelphia and teammate Mathieu Darche was told he would be playing.
Pyatt, a throw-in in the deal that brought Scott Gomez to Montreal last summer, has been a pleasant surprise for the Canadiens this spring. He has two goals and two assists in this year's playoffs, including a game-winning goal, and has averaged 13:02 in ice time.
