Power Rankings: Ducks hold on to top spot

Updated: November 13, 2006, 7:08 PM ET

There are no "perfect" teams left in the NHL, but there are still a few dominant ones.

It was a close call, but the Anaheim Ducks (13-1-4) held on to the No. 1 spot in our Power Rankings for the second straight week. Despite a shutout loss to Miikka Kiprusoff and the Flames (could anyone have beaten Kipper in the third period of that game?), the Ducks posted strong wins against Vancouver and Minnesota.

The Sabres held on to the second spot with three straight overtime wins (Rangers, Panthers and Flyers), and the Red Wings, Maple Leafs and Flames made big moves.

So, think we're just batty? Go to our feedback page to give us your thoughts, or rank the teams yourself.

Until next week, enjoy, Puck Nation!
