Dallas (13-15-4-0) at Florida (10-15-7-1) 7:30 pm EST

SUNRISE, Florida (Ticker) -- The Dallas Stars look to extend their unbeaten streak to four games Friday when they begin a three-game road trip against the Florida Panthers.

The Stars are 2-0-1-0 since a five-game losing streak. The last time they were unbeaten in four games was from October 25-November 2.

Dallas posted a 3-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday as Bill Guerin and Rob DiMaio scored third-period goals. Guerin and Jason Arnott each finished with a goal and an assist and Marty Turco made 22 saves. Guerin's goal was his fourth game-winner this season.

Turco has allowed two goals or fewer in 10 of his last 12 starts and has a 1.58 goals-against average and .935 save percentage during that stretch.

Wednesday's game also marked the return of defensemen Teppo Numminen (foot injury) and Richard Matvichuk (knee injury).

The Panthers are winless in their last three games (0-1-2) and own just one win (1-3-5-1) in their last 10. However, they have earned at least one point in nine of their past 12 games and are unbeaten in the past three home contests (1-0-2).

Florida pulled out a 2-2 draw against Washington on Wednesday as Stephen Weiss scored the game-tying goal. Valeri Bure also tallied and Roberto Luongo made 25 saves.

This is the only meeting between Dallas and Florida. They have split a pair of contests each of the last two seasons.
