PITTSBURGH (Ticker) -- The Atlanta Thrashers hope facing the Pittsburgh Penguins can cure their offensive woes when they met on Saturday at Mellon Arena.

The Trashers beat the Penguins, 6-3, at home on December 12 for a fourth straight victory but have yet to score since.

On Thursday, Atlanta suffered its third consecutive defeat, losing to New Jersey, 3-0.

The Thrashers have been outscored by 12-0 during their skid.

The Penguins are 2-4-0-2 in their last eight games and are coming off a 2-1 setback at Carolina on Thursday. Sebastien Caron gave up a goal to Rod Brind'Amour with 1:10 left in regulation, and Jeff O'Neill scored the game-winner 2:!4 into overtime.

Konstantin Koltsov scored for Pittsburgh, which beat Atlanta here on December 1, 4-3.

The Penguins are 16-2-0 all time against the Thrashers, including 8-1-0 at home.
