ST. LOUIS (Ticker) -- The New York Rangers try to remain perfect on a four-game road trip when they visit the St. Louis Blues on Thursday.

New York posted its second straight overtime victory with Tuesday's 3-2 victory at Los Angeles. Defenseman Tom Poti notched the game-winner in the extra session for the second straight game.

Mark Messier tied the game midway through the third period and has three goals and three assists in his last six games. Poti has notched four game-winning goals.

New York is 5-2-0-1 in its last eight games. The Rangers are 0-3-0-1 against Central Division opponents.

St. Louis was blasted by Philadelphia in its last game on Tuesday, 7-2. The Blues surrendered a franchise-record five power-play goals.

Keith Tkachuk scored for the second straight game for the Blues, who are 1-3-2 in their last six games after a six-game winning streak.

St. Louis posted a win and a tie in two meetings with New York last season.
